Tyler Childers at Kroger Field; Lexington Sporting Club; Easter egg hunt


LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT)—Three Kentucky stars will be shining bright in the bluegrass, and a home game for the Lexington Sporting Club men’s team.

Plus, several ways you can celebrate easter in the latest Weekend Roundup.

TYLER CHILDERS

Kentucky native and Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and musician Tyler Childers is coming to Lexington!

The “On the Road” tour features Childers with special guests and fellow Kentuckians Wynonna Judd and S.B. Goodman.

Childers’ most recent album, “Rustin’ in the Rain,” includes the single “In Your Love,” which was nominated for two Grammys, a VMA, and an ACM award.

This will be the second concert ever held at UK’s Kroger Field.

The show begins Saturday night at 6:30.

MONTEREY BAY FC AT LEXINGTON SPORTING CLUB

The Lexington Sporting Club men’s team takes on Monterey Bay FC Saturday night.

It’s also $1.50 beer night at the club.

Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

Tickets start at $15.

SPRING FLING

This Saturday, you can hop over to the Whitaker Family YMCA’s Spring Fling.

The free community celebration will feature inflatables, face paintings, and of course an easter egg hunt!

The egg hunt will be divided into two different age groups.

Ages 4 and under begin at 2:30. 5 and older is at 3.

No registration is required.

The event begins at 2 p.m.

WINSTAR FARM EASTER EGG HUNT

If you want to celebrate easter in Kentucky fashion, you can head out to Winstar Farm in Versailles on Saturday.

The farm, known for its thoroughbred horse breeding and racing, will be hosting their first-ever easter egg hunt!

In addition to taking in the views of the beautiful horse farm, there will also be crafts, snacks, the chance to meet some of the horses, and prizes for top egg finders.

It’s $12.50 for adults to attend, and $10 for kids.

The fun begins at 10 a.m.
