Rey Fenix includes one Hall of Famer in his list of dream matches.
Earlier this year, ahead of WrestleMania 41, the former AEW star arrived on the SmackDown roster. After serving a controversial AEW tenure with Tony Khan’s promotion, Fenix joined his brother, Penta. While his brother Penta is currently active in Raw, Fenix made his presence felt on SmackDown.
Recently, speaking with Denise Salcedo ahead of WrestleMania 41, Fenix opened up on his list of three dream matches, including one against a Hall of Famer.
“I can say three matches I want to happen in WWE first, I want to face my brother [Penta], right? I want to face my brother. Second, of course, Rey Mysterio, and my third one, I’m gonna say Randy Orton.”

As per recent reports, Mysterio has currently been sidelined with an injury, with his WrestleMania 41 match against El Grande Americano still not confirmed. Meanwhile, Orton has been announced for an open challenge, and Fenix can appear during that challenge and fulfil his dream match wish.

Speaking with WWE Deutschland, Penta named his brother as his dream match.
“My dream match about mask vs. mask is with Rey Fenix. This is my dream match: Penta vs. Rey Fenix, mask vs. mask. I don’t know when. Maybe it only happens in my mind… It’s possible, I don’t know,”
