The countdown to this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards is underway, with nominations to be announced July 15. The ceremony will take place Sept. 14 in downtown Los Angeles.
In a new episode of “The Envelope Roundtables,” acclaimed actors Sterling K. Brown (“Paradise”), Jason Isaacs (“The White Lotus”), Alison Janney (“The Diplomat”), Britt Lower (“Severance”), Kaitlin Olsen (“High Potential”), Billy Bob Thornton (“Landman”) and Noah Wyle (“The Pitt”) open up about their awards-caliber series.
One of the most talked-about shows from this past year is “Paradise” on Hulu. Lead actor Brown discussed his embattled character during the roundtable discussion.
“I don’t think anyone goes into parenthood planning to do it by themselves. And he has such a deep, abiding love for his wife,” said Brown. “Thankfully, I have 19 years of deep, abiding love for my wife — because we [as actors] basically just have life experience and imagination.”
