ORLANDO, Fla. – It will likely be a loud and early wake-up on Saturday as thunderstorms – some potentially strong or severe – are expected to move across Central Florida during the early morning hours.
A cold front is on its way towards the area, bringing with it widespread showers and thunderstorms on Saturday morning. These storms could also bring heavy rain and frequent lightning, strong winds (60+ mph gusts), and small hail (pea-sized).

As the cold front pushes through, showers and thunderstorms are possible during the morning hours across Orlando and Central Florida. Those storms could clear out by the afternoon hours.
Best chance for storms: 4 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Highs look to be a little cooler with the help of the front, due to the clouds and the rain. Temperatures top out in the upper 80s with the humidity slowly dropping.
