Odds are yes, it is going to snow this weekend in Oklahoma. According to the National Weather Service in Norman, temperatures are expected to drop this weekend, with sub-freezing lows possible in northwest Oklahoma Saturday morning.

Most of the state will remain in the 40s throughout Saturday, and widespread freezing temperatures are expected Sunday morning.

With a cold advection expected to move into the already cold air Saturday, snow is possible Saturday night into Sunday morning, largely across northwestern and northern Oklahoma.

But, because surface temperatures are expected to be above-freezing, it is likely the precipitation will not impact travel or accumulate much if at all.
